This week we will be doing a deep dive into Lovecraftian horror movies! This subgenre, also called cosmic horror or eldritch horror, is a subgenre that emphasizes the horror of the unknowable and incomprehensible more than gore or other elements of shock. We will be watching the Void, as well an older A24 film by Jonathan Glazer called Under the skin. Last but not least we will be having a great time with our favourite homeboy Sam Neill starring in the 90's horror film In the Mouth of Madness by none other than horror director icon himself John Carpenter.
